System Liquidity: Liquidity opened the week 6.69% higher at ₦4.35trn on SDF placements of ₦4.09trn; OVN eased 1bp to 22.09%, NOFR/OPR flat at 22.00%.
Treasury Bills
Mildly bullish on ample liquidity, led by the 04-Feb-27 (-24bps) and 18-Feb-27 (-19bps) bills; average yield down 3bps to 18.09%.
FGN Bonds
Mixed with a bearish tilt ahead of the NTB auction, though the 2030/2031 (-9bps) and 2034/2035 (-8bps) papers firmed; average yield down 2bps to 16.82%
Eurobonds
Bearish across the curve on U.S. rates uncertainty, with the 2028 (+19bps) leading; average yield up 1bp to 6.93%.
Nigerian Equities
ASI and market cap rose 1.20% to 248,529.75 and ₦160.42trn; volume fell 25.11% to 1.14bn units while value rose 1.37% to ₦27.02bn, with Insurance -1.64% and Consumer Goods +0.76%.
Foreign Exchange
The naira gained 41bps (₦5.54) to ₦1,360.14/$ officially and held at ₦1,420.00/$ parallel; reserves up US$24.33mn to US$52.06bn.
Commodities
Gold eased 0.29% to $4,399.13/oz off a nine-week high; Brent surged 4.99% to $87.72/bbl on Iran–U.S. tension while WTI slipped 0.02% to $82.11/bbl.
